Jake Burkons’ Sports Highlights

Anyone who knows me knows that I love all kinds of sports. 

 

When I was younger, I was mostly about basketball. Back when I was in middle school at the Mandel Jewish Day School, our Middle School “A” team won our division (for the first time!) with a 12 - 0 record. Check out the news coverage of our athletic achievements.  

 

But when I got to high school, my athletic tastes gravitated to contact sports. As you can see above, I did some wrestling. You can catch a bit of that action on this video my uncle captured.

 

But, let’s be honest, we all know my true high school sports focus was on football.
